ABA
We've welcomed another new client to ABA with more new clients coming this month! New hires continue to join us as well - we look forward to watching you grow and collaborate.
We had so much fun with our "Opposites" spirit day in January. This month we have:

Feb 7th: Team Colors
Feb 14th: Spread the Love

We've been ramping up our Group Gather sessions and really getting into the rhythm of the connected activities. As our kids and techs have gotten more comfortable with the format, we've started moving the area where we do Group Gather to fit the activities for that day or week. This helps our kids practice flexibility while still providing a dependable routine. We've also been tying our group gather activities to our spirit day themes - this has been a lot of fun and helps really engage our kids.
Our four interns have been great contributors. They're involved in ways that are meaningful for both them and us. They've been helping prepare group gather materials, shadowing techs while learning about data collection and teaching strategies, getting to interact with kids during reinforcement time, shadowing BAs, helping BAs prepare program materials, providing extra help during lunchtime, shadowing Lead BTs to learn how to keep client information updated and rooms organized. Our masters-level intern is spending time with Kelly to ask more in-depth questions about being a BCBA while Kelly is learning about her experience in a preschool setting.
Supported Pathways
Our kids have been working hard researching animals of their choice and the habitats that support those animals. As part of their project-based learning experience, they've been modeling their habitats in dioramas. Here's a glimpse at their work!

Waiver
We're excited to welcome new DSPs Amanda and Aaliyah!
This past Sunday, several of our clients were able to attend a Komets game for free from the comfort of a section of box seats! We were so happy to receive these tickets and appreciative that our clients could enjoy the game from a sensory friendly environment. We hope to receive more box seat tickets in the future for even more clients to enjoy.
This Friday, we're delighted that several clients will be enjoying a memorable night at Night to Shine, a prom night experience for individuals with diverse abilities.
We are hiring full- and part- time Behavior Consultants. Know a friend looking for a way to make a difference in behavioral support with flexible scheduling? Encourage them to email Megan.P@PartnersinAutism.com or apply on our website.
Social Groups
All our on-site social groups are moving to our Medical Park Drive location this month. We can't wait to welcome you here and show you around!

Our Social Squad returns from its hiatus this month with an art event presented by guests from the Yellow Frame Project. We'll each be exploring colors and textures that represent a treasured memory. We are excited to see what everyone creates and are even more excited to listen to everyone's stories as we connect and have fun!
Employment
Courtnie and Laura were invited to speak at Northwood Middle School's career day event. They got to share the important work done by everyone in the wide variety of roles at Partners. In particular, they discussed the ways our Employment Specialists help our clients navigate every stage of securing meaningful employment.
We're so happy to be fully settled at our new location and excited to start sharing photos of our training spaces in use!
