What to expect during your
Assessment Experience
We ensure that our pre-screening process is easy, comfortable, and respectful of your time while giving you thorough results and personalized feedback.
This is a highly customized experience to provide you with the most dependable results:
-
For our autism pre-screenings, we select from 8 different validated assessment tools to use the one most appropriate for you.
-
Our gifted assessment uses a dynamic and adaptive, highly respected evaluation tool.
-
Our adult ADHD pre-screening gathers input from multiple sources in your life including a one-on-one conversation with you about your lived experiences.
Below are the stages of the experience.

Intake
Complete our contact form. We'll reach out to you to gather basic information and schedule both your assessment and your post-assessment consultation.
If you are receiving our adult ADHD assessment, we will also provide preliminary materials. These include interview forms that will need to be filled out before your assessment by one or two people of your choosing.
Assessment
All of our assessments are done in-person.

If you are receiving our adult ADHD assessment, you will need to bring your completed interview forms with you.

When you arrive, you'll sign in with our receptionist. Our assessor will then meet you in our lobby and show you to a meeting room. There, they will interview you about your lived experiences and deliver the various components of your assessment. They will remain in the meeting room with you for all parts of your assessment.

If you are receiving our gifted assessment, you will complete some tasks verbally and some on an iPad.

If you are a parent or guardian of a child receiving an autism pre-screening assessment, you may be asked to accompany your child. Otherwise, we will have a comfortable area for you to wait for your child.

Post-Assessment Consultation
You will return on a later date for your personalized post-assessment consultation. You will sign in with the receptionist, and our assessor will accompany you to a meeting room as before.

During this consultation, we will discuss not only what your results mean but also your possible next steps based on your goals and priorities. These next steps may include a recommendation for a formal diagnosis, identifying beneficial accommodations to advocate for at work or school, or simply resources to learn more about how your brain works.
